Dr. Charles Shin graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s School of Dentistry in 1999. After practising in Burlington, Ontario, he moved to Stouffville and opened Shin Dentistry in 2003.
For Dr. Shin, good dental care starts with understanding the person behind the smile. Every patient comes to the dentist with different concerns, priorities, and experiences, so he takes the time to listen, explain treatment options, and help patients make informed decisions about their oral health.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shin has continued to build on his education and experience. He has pursued continuing education at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and is a graduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics & Therapeutics (PTIFA), where he received advanced training related to the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin.
This additional training allows Dr. Shin to offer therapeutic treatment options for appropriate patients experiencing concerns such as teeth grinding, clenching, jaw tension, and related discomfort.
Outside the office, Dr. Shin enjoys hockey and auto racing.
